UNICORE (Uniform Interface to Computing Resources) offers a ready-to-run Grid system including client and server software. UNICORE makes distributed computing and data resources available in a seamless and secure way in intranets and the internet.

Version 6.4.4 of UNICORE's graphical client suite is now available for download from http://www.unicore.eu/download . New features include allowing to delete application GUIs from the Workflow Editor palette. In addition, the new client fixes some bugs. At the upcoming XSEDE conference in Chicago, there will be a UNICORE tutorial (on Monday, July 16) as well as an invited talk about UNICORE 6 in XSEDE (on Tuesday, July 17 at 11:30).
While the talk will give a broad and general overview of the role of UNICORE components in the XSEDE architecture, the tutorial participants will lay hands on the actual software.
