The UNICORE and Supercomputing Workshop 2009 takes place on March 18, 2009 at the new headquarter of the German Weatherservice (Deutscher Wetterdienst, DWD) in Offenbach near Frankfurt (Main), Germany.
The objective of the workshop is to present and demonstrate interesting results of UNICORE usage in Supercomputing to major stakeholders in Supercomputing from Germany and Europe as well as to members of the UNICORE Forum.

DWD is easily reachable by public transport from Frankfurt/Main airport within 26 minutes by train and approx. 10 minutes walking. From the regional train station within Frankfurt airport take either line S8 towards "Offenbach (Main) Ost" or line S9 towards "Hanau Hbf". Exit at stop "Offenbach (Main) Ledermuseum" and use the map to walk to DWD.
